BOOK THE SHOOT!
“I wanted to do this shoot as a present for my fiancé on our wedding day. I am a bigger girl at a size 16-18 and have always hidden beneath baggy clothes and tried to stay off the radar in life but as I am getting older and I am marrying my best friend I’m trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and live life to the fullest without always worrying about what people see.
I had a lot of panic moments and almost cancelled a few times but Jess was amazing and was available on WhatsApp to calm me down! When I arrived on shoot day I was terrified but within a few minutes Jess had calmed me down and talked me through the process. She’s a lovely down to earth lady and it felt like she was a friend pretty early on which made the whole thing a lot more calm and natural feeling!
She gives great direction and really knows what she’s talking about and when there was a pose I wanted to try she was more than happy to shoot it and even loved the pose which was a confidence booster too! She gave gentle encouragement throughout as well as compliments and made it very clear that if I was uncomfortable that we could take a break or skip a pose.
So far I have seen a few of the edits and they are beautiful! Although I will always find ways to pick my body apart these photos have made me feel beautiful despite the parts I don’t like! Jess is going to put together an album for me soon and I look forward to seeing all of the photos! When I was looking into doing a shoot I really struggled to book as there are not many pictures of women like me doing shoots like this but honestly BOOK THE SHOOT! Jess will make you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin! Thank you so much Jess!’’
